A short notice for direct recruitment of 4,543 Sub-Inspector (SI) and equivalent positions has been officially released by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB).

One-Time Registration (OTR) began July 31, 2025 and is mandatory to apply.
Online applications are accepted from August 12, 2025 to September 11, 2025. Fee payment deadline is also September 11; late fee accepted until September 13 only per some sources.
Educational Qualification: Must be a graduate from a recognized university.
Age Limit: 21 to 28 years as of a specified cutoff. Age relaxations apply per government norms for reserved categories.
The selection process includes:
Written Examination
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Medical Examination (and document verification).
Salary: Selected candidates can expect approximately ₹65,000 per month.
