Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Indian Citizen
- Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates: 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates: 8 years
- Educational Qualification:
- For Secondary Level (Classes IX-X):
- Graduate / Post Graduate from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) AND Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE recognized institution, OR
- 4-year degree of B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution.
- For Higher Secondary Level (Classes XI-XII):
- Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from a recognized University AND Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE recognized institution, OR
- Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from a recognized University AND B.A. Ed/ B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution.
- Note: Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PH) will receive a 5% relaxation in the minimum required educational marks.
